— Chapter one —


The neanderthals had been at war with each other for more than a decade, and now they realized that mutual destruction was inescapable. Their nuclear arsenals, which had lain in waiting for centuries of cold war, would thunder out of their silos and lay waste to an entire era. This race of genus Homo would never survive its technological adolescence; that fact had been known for years by one of their oldest peace makers.

His name was as long as his history. At the age of five, he questioned the slavery of the cro-magnons.
