The Hyper-Space Dimension

The original draft was written on a mechanical typewriter, single-spaced, with no right margin. All spellings, punctuation, science "facts", capitalizations, colors, etc. are as in the original. Unfortunately, without scanning it in and presenting an image, I can't really convey all the typewriter overstrikes and formatting oddities I had to slog through in the original.

You have been warned.

Chapter 1: The World's First Time Machine..................................

One day, I had an invitation to a party at 3:00. I didn't have a clock, so I had to tell time by my watch. I was walking down to the party, but when I got there, the party was all over. My watch had stopped!
I then went back to my house to build a kind of large clock. One time while I was building the clock, lots of parts slipped into it & around inside it.
I then pressed a button on it, & my watch dissapeared. Well, then I said, "well anyway, good rittens. But wait! It must have gone through time! I've invented the world's first time machine!
I then ran around the neighborhood yelling, "I've invented the worlds first time machine! I've invented the worlds first time machine!", but no one belived me.
Finally, I said, "come over to my garage & I'll prove it to you."
The next day all of the people in the neighborhood came to see my so called time machine. I then pressed the button, & I disappeared. But I didn't disappear in time, I disappeared in dimensions............................

Chapter 2: Through The Dimension Tunnel...................................

I was then falling through a tunnel with brightly glowing colors all around me.
Several minutes later, I heard a loud blast, & I knew I was in the 4th dimension (because the colors were glowing even brighter than before). I was then falling through the tunnel at the speed of light, & the light variations from the colors were going past the speed of light.
Several minutes later, I heared another loud blast & I knew I was in the 5th dimension (because the colors were glowing even brighter than before). I was then traveling at 1½ times the speed of light & the light variations from the colors were gowing twice as fast as light.
Several minutes later, I heard another loud blast & I knew I was in the 6th dimension (because the colors were then glowing even brighter than before). I was then falling through the tunnel at 8 times the speed of light & the light variations from the colors were going 9 times the speed of light.
Several minutes later, I heard another loud blast & I knew I was in the 7th dimension (because the colors were glowing even brighter than ever). I was then falling through the tunnel at 28 times the speed of light & the light variations from the colors were going at 29 times the speed of light.
Several minutes later, I heard another loud blast & I knew I was in the eighth & undiscovered dimension. But the colors had stopped, & I was in the strangest of places.......................................................

Chapter 3: In the EIGHTH Dimension.........................................

I was then startled when I saw 3 men & 2 women. But, then they revieled that they were freindly. Since I was in the eighth dimension, I had 16 times as much mobility than in the third. So I could run at 192 m.p.h. instead of 12 m.p.h. in the 3rd dimension.
I then went to get my eighth dimensional driver's license for an eighth dimensional car.
Meanwhile, a guy accidentaly pushed the button on the machine & I was back in the third dimension.

the end.
